4+ Yrs. Experienced UI/UX/Web Designer to create and manage WordPress websites for US based group, to work in Pune, India.

SigmaTEK Systems is a 25-year-old US based global group providing leading CAD/Cam, Nesting and Automation software solutions, with 17 Global Offices and 18000+ customers. In our team of 270+ dedicated team members, we are looking for front-end-web designer to manage our online web presence through our group websites. These websites are linked with each other and uses WordPress for content management. As a web designer, we expect you to carefully design, manage and update these websites to represent our global brand effectively to our users.

Responsibilities will include:

• Key responsibility includes maintaining the group websites from concept to launch, independently, mainly using WordPress
• Collecting inputs from the marketing and product teams to design the concepts
• Creating appropriate themes for the website sections
• Wire framing and website & web page layout designing
• Creation and enhancements of necessary graphics
• Creating effective landing pages and lead magnets / forms
• Creating functional website pages
• Developing presentation layer HTML/ HTML5 on a.net platform
• Developing well-structured, maintainable CSS/CSS3, jQuery, JavaScript and HTML/ HTML5 on a daily production basis
• Contributing to the creative and site architecture strategy
• Maintaining a high standard for all web work provided by the team ensuring the best possible presentation of our marketing message to our customers
• Keeping abreast of new trends in web designing
• Proactively recommending solutions for existing and upcoming projects
• Implementation of on-page SEO practices on the website (such as meta descriptions, image tags etc.)

Must have:

• 4+ years of front-end experience in web designing
• Experience in creating websites using WordPress
• Experience in WordPress theme customization
• Experience writing semantic HTML, HTML 5
• Experience using a CSS preprocessor such as Sass or LESS
• Practical knowledge of fetching data and manipulating user interfaces with JavaScript
• Passionate about building clean and easy-to-use interfaces
• Excellent communication & writing skills in the English language
• Experience with Bootstrap framework required
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop CS
• Understanding of SEO concepts and techniques, for on page SEO implementation
• Basic knowledge of using social media profiles for company presentation
• Flexibility to work with US time zone

• Previous experience of working with US based clients and teams
• Experience of creating websites for Global Markets
• Experience of leading a small team of junior designers
• Experience of working with file sharing and collaboration application
• Experience of managing contents using Sitefinity CMS
• Experience working in an agile development environment and using agile tools.

Job Location:

SB Road, Pune, Maharashtra, India.

Reporting:

Directly reporting to the US Based IT & Marketing Team.
