SigmaTube is a tube cutting solution for 4-axis profile cutting machines that runs completely inside the native SolidWorks design environment.
It is designed as an add-on to SolidWorks which provides users with a simple yet powerful wizard based interface for generating toolpaths for their tube family of products.
SigmaTube offers several unique and powerful features to the SolidWorks user such as:
- Automatic feature recognition of all machinable cut-outs on the component
- Automatic lead-ins and lead-outs that can be configured manually as well
- Advanced tool path sorting interface
- Familiarity with the modeling environment since it runs as a plug-in completely inside SolidWorks.
- Real time simulation of tool path sequence in SolidWorks.
- Configurable Post processor that can be easily configured for different types of rotary machines.
