Complex Auto Destruct
Complex Auto Destruct is an enhancement to SigmaNEST Punch functionality developed specifically for automatically nibbling internal contours of any complex or arbitrary shape.
In some cases it is required to completely nibble out the internal contours instead of just parting them off. Material removal becomes easy because of small pieces of scrap that get generated in the process. It also prevents internal cut-outs from floating on the sheet which may interfere with the tool and can potentially harm either the tool itself or the affect quality of the parts being nibbled.
‘Complex Auto Destruct’ can automatically generate destruct tool paths for contours of any geometrical complexity and can resolve all the problems mentioned above. In addition it creates huge improvements in programming time required for generating such tool paths.
