Pro/E Import
Pro/E Import Module belongs to the SigmaNEST family of SolidCAD Interfaces. It enables seamless transition of component geometry and design information from Pro/E to SigmaNEST.
Some prominent features of SolidCAD Interfaces are:
- Support for direct geometry transfer from various CAD/CAM products to SigmaNEST
- Part and assembly level processing,
- Batch processing support
Some of the advanced features provided by Pro/E import module are:
- Automatic processing of machinable data through advanced filtering mechanism
- Support for multiple configurations
- Automatic unfolding of sheet metal parts
- High level of integration with product design data and information,
- Automatic feature recognition for certain features related to profile cutting domain; e.g. bevel recognition for chamfered parts
- Design to process mapping allowing user complete control over selection of process parameters during design phase itself
